Dear Friend,

As we approach the end of 2018, many of us take time to reflect on the various experiences and adventures that have enriched our lives throughout the year.  We sincerely hope that Van Cortlandt House Museum is included on your 2018 list.

It’s been a very busy year at Van Cortlandt House Museum. Since January 1st, nearly 3,000 people have visited Van Cortlandt House Museum and enjoyed their own unique experience, whether it be a self-guided tour of the Museum or attending one of our special programs. We also can’t forget the thousands of school children who enjoyed a living history adventure on a school field trip to the Museum or the children who attended our annual Adventures in Time Summer History Camp.

Over the summer, new plantings were installed and garden beds surrounding the house were renovated thanks to a special initiative by The National Society of Colonial Dames in the State of New York (NSCDNY) which has held a license agreement with the City of New York to operate the house as a museum since May of 1897.

As you reflect on how Van Cortlandt House Museum may have enriched your life this past year, we hope you will consider showing your appreciation with a donation to the Museum.   Your donation to the Museum will be used to help support public programs such as our History and Culture Fair, special access tours of the house, and lectures on local history during 2019.

Please use the link below to make a secure online donation for Van Cortlandt House Museum.

Sincerely,

Laura                                                Sarah
