Join us on Saturday, February 7th from 12-2 PM for a special historic Valentine-making workshop, where creativity meets tradition! Step back in time and explore the art of crafting hand-made Valentines, inspired by the intricate designs of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

Red Monkey Theater Group's Writer in Residence, Amy Frey, will work with students on what makes a successful dramatic theatrical adaptation at this free workshop on Sunday, February 8th at 4 PM.
Students will have the opportunity to workshop their own dramatic adaptations, and receive feedback from the group. Free & open to all, but pre-registration is required. Register below. |

VCHM, the Kingsbridge Historical Society, and the Bronx County Historical Society present this free hybrid talk by local historian Nick Dembowski on Thursday, February 26th at 7 PM examining how Black people in the Bronx navigated war, resistance, and opportunity in their pursuit of freedom during the American Revolution.
This talk will take place both at VCHM and live online via Zoom. registration is required to join the online talk. |
